The success of Singleton Marine Group is tied to the original vision
and direction of founders Philip and Linda Singleton. Their commitment
to offering the highest quality of service is evident in every aspect
of company operations, right on down to the dealership level. The
Singletons are highly respected in the marine industry, and have
successfully owned and operated full service marine dealerships across
the Southeast for years. The Singleton Marine Group is now owned and
operated by their son, Austin, who has been directly involved with the
business since high school.
All employees of the group share the Singleton family's dedicated
commitment to quality customer service, and are also highly trained and
seasoned with years of marine industry experience. Treating the
customer right, plus incorporating a quality work ethic, are a big part
of what makes their family of fine dealerships unique, and what brings

PHILIP AND LINDA SINGLETON
Founders
Both Philip and Linda hail from Montgomery, Alabama, where the
childhood friends and later college sweethearts, married in 1968. After
working on a road project around Lake Martin in Dadeville, Alabama, as
part of his road contract business, Philip thought owning a business on
the lake would be a great way to "slow down." They sold the road
company, bought several parcels of land around the lake that included
an old filling station, and started Blue Creek Marina along the shores
of Lake Martin in 1988. With the simple strategy of giving good
service, the business grew to be a great success. That same
"old-fashioned" business philosophy guides Singleton Marine Group today.
AUSTIN SINGLETON
President
Austin is the owner of Singleton Marine Group and oversees all
operations. Working as a teen during summers at his parent's Blue Creek
Marina business, he developed a love for enterprise on the water. After
attending Auburn University, he returned to take a position in the
company in 1993. His on-the-job training under the tutelage of his
parents was a success -- he took over running the business in 1996 and
formed the Singleton Marine Group brand in 2006.
Austin's business strategies of controlled growth, solid
product lines, a customized and strategic marketing plan, stable
leadership, and a dedicated, hard-working team of professionals,
coupled with his unwavering commitment to customer service, has
Singleton Marine Group on track for a bright future.

ANTHONY AISQUITH
Managing Partner
Anthony joined Singleton Marine Group in December of 2008 after
spending 13 years with MarineMax the nation's largest marine dealer
leaving as the regional president. Anthony brings a very strong
marketing and sales background to the company with extensive knowledge
in the southeast. A passion for boating makes Anthony a sure fit for
our company as we grow to the next level.

SCOTT CUNNINGHAM
Managing
Partner
Scott is a senior member of the management team with over 30 years in
the retail marine and automobile business. Prior to joining Singleton
Marine Group he managed the Central Region for Marine Max in Georgia
and Texas. Scott's passion for boating and the boating business is
evident with his track record of growth in the businesses he has helped
build throughout his career.
Our mission is not to be the biggest boat retailer but to be the best!

RYAN ERVIN
|
Business Manager
After Graduating from the University of Georgia, Ryan began a career as
a Police Officer. But after a few years, he discovered his true calling
in sales. After spending 10 years gaining experience by working in
sales and management for premium brands like BMW, Mercedes and Honda,
Ryan came to Singleton Marine Group in 2008.
In the 1980's Ryan lived in Florida, but visited his Uncle on
Lake Lanier every Memorial Day weekend to enjoy boating, waterskiing
and great family time. Ryan moved to Georgia in 1990 and has spent the
entire summer on Lake Lanier every year since.
Ryan enjoys spending family time with his wife Jody, son Jacob
and daughter Kellie. Ryan currently lives in Buford and his wife, Jody,
works for Gwinnett County as a school teacher. You can find Ryan
boating on Lake Lanier in his Regal with his wife and kids every Sunday
that the weather is warm!

DAVID TIDWELL
|
Controller
David joined Singleton Marine Group in January 2003 as a salesperson at
the Dadeville, Alabama location. In March of 2004 David took a position
as Service Manager at Blue Creek. In 2008 a position became available
as Store Manager at the Atlanta location and David quickly took the
opportunity to advance. David currently holds the position of
Controller with Singleton Marine Group.
David grew up on Lake Harding, a small lake on the
Alabama/Georgia state line. As a child he would spend summers at the
lake with his Grandparents fishing, boating and swimming. When David
was 13 his family moved to the Lake Harding and purchased a new
runabout, and that's where David's passion for Boating truly began. It
took a little time before his dad would let him take the boat out by
himself, but he was finally able to prove that he could handle the
boat, and after that he and his friends spent every possible minute
fishing, skiing, or just riding around the lake.
David currently lives in Buford, Ga with his beautiful wife
Calley, daughter Trinity, and son Cameron. When the family's busy
schedule permits they spend afternoons on Lake Lanier cruising around
or enjoying watersports. David is an avid fisherman, hunter, and
generally loves the outdoors.

DARREN MATTHEWS
General Sales Manager
Darren's first job (at age 9) was at Links Landing Marina on Lake of the Ozarks working the gas dock, boat rentals and fork lift. At 16, he moved to Sarasota, FL and spent his days as a rigger at a large Wellcraft dealer and evenings as a steward on a 115' Broward Yacht.
Darren's first Sales Manager position came at 21, and in 1997, he moved to New York City and worked as VP and GM for the largest Marquis, Silverton and Carver dealer in the world, also representing Viking, Cabo, and Viking Sport Cruisers until coming "home" to Georgia in 2007.
He's participated in offshore boat racing, held a world kilo speed record, and has been boating in almost every coastal area around the U.S.
Darren says, " SMG has allowed me to remember what I love most about the boating business, selling boats and changing the lives of the people who buy them." Most importantly, Darren's position has allowed him to finally spend time with his three children: Emily, who just celebrated her "Sweet 16", Cole, whose Little League baseball team competed in the Little League World Series playoffs last summer, and my youngest, Grace who just turned 2.

CORY SNEED
Business Manager
Cory joined Singleton Marine Group in June of 2011 after spending 11
years with the Boat Tree, the world's largest Regal dealer leaving as
General Manager.
His desire to move from Florida was based on
the fact of Singleton Marine Group's passion to be the best in the
business. Cory brings a very strong ability to understand the
consumer's wants all while providing superior service after the sale.
When Cory's not hard at work he enjoys
spending time on the lake with his wife Ashlie and two children, Pierce
and Hailey enjoying the boating lifestyle.
