Dave grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Early on, Dave had a love for water and started surfing at a young age. He still gets back to the beach any chance he gets to catch waves. An accomplished athlete, Dave was a standout in high school baseball and football. He went on the play Junior Baseball for 2 years in college.
In 1996, Dave started working for Skipper Buds in Wilmington, NC. Shortly after, that business was bought out by Marine Max where Dave held multiple positions... Dry Stack Manager running a 250 slip operation, Internal/Warranty department and others. Dave successfully managed the Service Department until June of 2006, when he opened his own business.
After operating his own business Wilmington NC, an opportunity arose to be a part of Singleton Marine Group. After reading about the company and understanding the Singleton's values, Dave's decision was quickly made. He packed up his family and relocated to Suwanee, GA where he is currently the Service Manager at SMG Yacht Center at Holiday Marina.
